Ever wished you had a magic wand to simplify those tedious tasks in your small business? Well, your wish is granted! Welcome to the enchanting world of Zapier! Let’s dive into the wonderfully impressive ways to automate your small business using this genius tool.
Please note, this is a paid tool, however, there is also a free version, but the functionality is limited.
First up to automate your small business: Zaps!
First, step into Zapier’s captivating world of “Zaps”. Imagine these as charming little digital elves doing your chores 24/7. One of my favorites? Email triggers! Are you too engrossed in your core operations to stay on top of new customer emails? Voila! Set up a Zap to automatically forward these emails to your CRM system or even notify you on Slack. Poof, like magic, you’ll never miss a new customer again!
Social scheduling? Yep!
Next on our tour – social media scheduling. If you’ve been manually posting to your business’s social accounts, I feel your pain. With Zapier, you can program a series of posts ahead of time, and your Zap will make sure your messages are delivered on time, every time. It’s like having your own social media wizard!
We only use this for a handful of instances, as we primarily use a third-party social media tool, which also includes additional analytics, etc. However, it’s a great option if you don’t need the extra features!
The most tedious task... invoicing
Finally, invoicing! Ah, that necessary but tedious task that can make any entrepreneur’s heart sink. Wave your magic wand (or, in our case, set up a Zap) to automate invoice creation and sending each time you make a sale. Who knew that finances could be so whimsical?
Pro tip: following the receipt of invoice payment, you can also have Zapier trigger a delayed email to request a Google review! Reviews = social proof + SEO benefits. Two birds, one stone.
And voila! Just like that, we’ve explored some enchanting ways to automate your small business using Zapier. But remember, the magic is just beginning! With Zapier’s extensive range of integrations, the only limit to your business automation is your imagination. So, pull out your wizard hat and start creating some Zaps! Your business (and sanity) will thank you!
